Baseball Recap: Salome Takes a Loss

Salome was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 8-1 to the Desert Heights Prep Yote. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Frogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Salome's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Desert Heights Prep, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Salome is set to challenge their familiar foe Maryvale Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Desert Heights Prep will face off against rival Valley Lutheran at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
