Volleyball Recap: Cherokee County Gets the Win

Cherokee County picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Helena Huskies by a score of 2-0.

Cherokee County's offense was headlined by Nevaeh Gaidurgis and Jolie Alexander, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Macy Lea and her 16 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Cherokee County's win bumped their record up to 25-3-1. As for Helena, they moved to 10-12 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Cherokee County has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Prattville Christian Academy on the 20th. As for Helena, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against West Morgan on the 20th.
