Preview: DuPont vs. Howard
DuPont may have come out ahead in their last contest, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. On Friday they will take on Howard at 7:00 PM. DuPont will really need to gear up for this challenge, as Howard will be their toughest opponent yet.
DuPont got themselves on the board against Glasgow last Friday, but Glasgow never followed suit. DuPont put a hurting on Glasgow to the tune of 49-0. Followers of DuPont probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected five blowout victories.
Meanwhile, Howard might be getting used to good results now that the squad has four wins in a row. They came out on top against St. Mark's by a score of 36-26.
Their wins bumped DuPont to 6-0 and Howard to 5-1. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Howard and DuPont will really light up the scoreboard.
