Football Game Preview: Comstock Park Panthers vs. Hopkins Vikings

The Comstock Park Panthers will head out to face off against the Hopkins Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Comstock Park has given up an average of 33.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Comstock Park's last matchup with Fruitport could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. The Panthers came up short against the Trojans, falling 35-14. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-0.

Meanwhile, Hopkins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 30-22 to Kelloggsville.

Hopkins' loss dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Comstock Park, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-3.

Comstock Park couldn't quite get it done against Hopkins when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 14-6. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
