Basketball Recap: Ephrata Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Ephrata, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They strolled past the Cocalico Eagles with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 58-43. For the Mountaineers, this counts as revenge for the 61-42 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Ephrata pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Cocalico, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Coincidentally, Ephrata and Cocalico will both be playing Solanco the next time they take the court. Ephrata will host Solanco at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Cocalico will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
