Baseball Recap: Triad's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

Triad and St. Laurence squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Triad had to settle for second. They took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Knights, who until this contest were averaging 2.58 runs allowed.

Keegan Seipp made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

With the loss, Triad broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 33-7. As for St. Laurence, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 36-5.
