Softball Recap: Gloucester County Christian Comes Up Short

Gloucester County Christian lost against Calvary Academy back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Conquerors lost 15-9 to the Warrior.

Sam Turing was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Reese Wentz also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Gloucester County Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Calvary Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Gloucester County Christian will square off against King's Christian at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Calvary Academy, they will face off against The Pilgrim Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pioneers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
