Baseball Recap: Bartlesville Takes a Loss

Bartlesville was the 4-2 winner over Sapulpa when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Bruins took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chieftains on Thursday.

Bartlesville has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-17 record this season. As for Sapulpa, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-14.

Bartlesville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 20-0 victory against Grant on the 8th. Hopefully Sapulpa paid attention to the Bruins' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Bruins on Friday.
