Summit Tahoma skates past KIPP Navigate College Prep with ease

The Summit Tahoma Tigers won the last time they faced the KIPP Navigate College Prep Tigers, and things went their way on Friday too. Summit Tahoma blew past KIPP Navigate College Prep 61-34 at home. With that win, Summit Tahoma brought their scoring average up to 50.8 points per game.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Summit Tahoma to victory, but perhaps none more so than David Pilling, who scored 16 points along with three steals. That's the first time this season that Pilling scored 15 or more points. Michael Salazar was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.

KIPP Navigate College Prep's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Zephaniah Martinez, who scored 12 points, and David Quezada Orantes who scored nine points along with five rebounds.

The victory makes it two in a row for Summit Tahoma and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for KIPP Navigate College Prep, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.

Summit Tahoma will head out on the road to take on Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for KIPP Navigate College Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Summit Tahoma at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
