Baseball Recap: Meek Has No Trouble Against Falkville

Meek won the last time they faced Falkville and things went their way on Saturday too. Meek put the hurt on Falkville with a sharp 11-5 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Meek got a big performance out of Evan McCay, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Conner Lane, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Meek's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Falkville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Meek will look to defend their home field on Monday against Addison at 4:30 p.m. Addison will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Falkville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cold Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
