            Volleyball Recap: Boone Braves vs. Bishop Moore Hornets        
        
		
        
        
            The Boone Braves came up short against the Bishop Moore Hornets on Monday and fell  3-1. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 23-25, 25-12,  25-23.
 Jeremiah Greenwood paced Boone's offense, picking up 12 kills. Greenwood got some help from  Ian Vega and his 13 assists.  Giomar Zapater controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
 Bishop Moore was led to victory by  Marc Francis Callejas and  Jose Rubero.  Callejas  had 12  digs and three  aces, while  Rubero  had four  digs and two  aces. That's the most  aces  Rubero has posted since back in April of 2024.  Nicholas Bedoya also deserves some recognition as  he  posted his first  assist of the season.
Boone now  has a losing record of 6-7. As for Bishop Moore, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record  this season.
 Boone is taking a road trip to  take on Lake Buena Vista  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Bishop Moore, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against University  at 6:30  p.m. The Hornets are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak.
