Basketball Recap: Hillsboro-Deering Takes a Loss

Hillsboro-Deering lost against Monadnock back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hillsboro-Deering Hillcats were beaten by the Monadnock Huskies 65-26. The Hillcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hillsboro-Deering now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Monadnock, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillsboro-Deering will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Raymond at 4:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Monadnock also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Newport at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
