Basketball Game Preview: Amador Buffaloes vs. Hoopa Valley Warriors

Having just played yesterday, the Amador Buffaloes will jump right back in to play the Hoopa Valley Warriors at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Amador is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since February 2nd on Friday. They took a blow against Placer, falling 82-50. The Buffaloes haven't had much luck with the Hillmen recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, Hoopa Valley unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They took a hard 75-58 fall against Argonaut.

Amador will have to contain Brandon Romero as he made an impact in Hoopa Valley's last game. He posted 19 points along with six assists and five rebounds. Romero has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Malakai McCoy was another key player, putting up nine points.

Hoopa Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Amador, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
