The Fairmont Golden Tornadoes will be playing at home against the St. Pauls Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

If Fairmont beats St. Pauls with 68 points on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. Fairmont came out on top against Midway by a score of 68-60 on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for the Golden Tornadoes as they're now sitting on three straight.

Meanwhile, St. Pauls posted their biggest win since February 19, 2024 on Tuesday. They blew past Red Springs 66-41. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-7.

Fairmont's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points per game. As for St. Pauls, their win bumped their record up to 5-14.
