Football Recap: Chamblee Bulldogs vs. Dunwoody Wildcats
Chamblee lost against Dunwoody back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs were outmatched by the Wildcats and fell 34-7. The Bulldogs were down 24-0 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dunwoody to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bradley Stephens, who rushed for 146 yards and three scores. Those 146 rushing yards gave Stephens a new career-high. Cameron Irastorza helped out on the ground, rushing for 114 yards and a rushing touchdown.
Chamblee's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Dunwoody, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chamblee will welcome Arabia Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dunwoody, they will take on Shiloh at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Generals will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
