It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but East Bay had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 46-44 victory over the Gulf Coast Sharks. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Gulf Coast lost, don't look at Lilly Fultz. Despite the final result, she went 5-for-11 on her way to 21 points along with seven boards and three steals. Fultz is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last four games she's played. Mackenzie Mcmaster was another key player, putting up eight points and six rebounds.

East Bay's win bumped their record up to 23-5. As for Gulf Coast, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-5.

Looking ahead, East Bay will take on Clearwater at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clearwater has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 179 points over their last three games. Gulf Coast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
