Basketball Recap: Boone County Takes a Loss

Boone County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 60-12 defeat at the hands of the Bishop Brossart Mustangs. The match marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Boone County's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Bishop Brossart, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boone County will challenge Simon Kenton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bishop Brossart, they will face off against Archbishop McNicholas at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Archbishop McNicholas comes in on four and Bishop Brossart on nine.
