Basketball Recap: Mountain View's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

After flying high against Big Piney last Saturday, Mountain View came back down to earth. The Mountain View Buffalos took a 53-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bear Lake Bears on Friday. The matchup marked the Buffalos' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

With the defeat, Mountain View broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-1. As for Bear Lake, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Mountain View will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lyman at 12:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Lyman will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Mountain View surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bear Lake, they and Rock Springs will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
