With a playoff win on the line, Father McGivney Catholic rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Freeburg Midgets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Griffins.

Mia Lieberman paced Father McGivney Catholic's offense, picking up eight kills. Lieberman got some help from Grace Nesbit and her 15 assists. Lieberman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Father McGivney Catholic's win bumped their record up to 20-13-2. As for Freeburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 22-14.

Father McGivney Catholic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Columbia on the 30th. Freeburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
