The North White Vikings will face off against the North Newton Spartans at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
North White will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Attica, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. The Vikings came out on top against the Red Ramblers by a score of 5-2 on Monday.

Raelynn Anliker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Morgan Carter was excellent, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024. Kaylyn Applegate was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Meanwhile, North Newton waltzed into their contest on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Eagles a 13-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won seven matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.
Sydney Rainford was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. Rainford was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
In other batting news, Caylee Oxley was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with five stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was June Busboom, who went 1-for-2 with five stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
North Newton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Faith Christian only posted an OBP of .062.
North Newton's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for North White, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. North White has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like North Newton struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 6.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
North White might still be hurting after the 12-0 defeat they got from North Newton in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will the Vikings have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more softball content.
