The Saddle River Day Rebels were the 63-57 winner over the St. Joseph Regional Green Knights when they last played one another back in February of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Saddle River Day lost to St. Joseph Regional at home by a decisive 55-41 margin on Thursday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Saddle River Day has scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Joseph Regional to victory, but perhaps none more so than Evan Brown, who scored 11 points. Anthony Pacciarelli was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds.

Saddle River Day will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Cliffside Park at 11:30 a.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in New Jersey (Cliffside Park is ranked 143rd, while Saddle River Day is ranked 152nd). As for St. Joseph Regional, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against St. Mary at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th.
