Battlefield has gone 6-1 against Freedom recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bobcats will look to defend their home pitch against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Battlefield's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Freedom has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

While Battlefield's victory against Patriot wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bobcats never let the Pioneers get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for Battlefield in their matchups with Patriot: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Freedom lost 6-3 to Gainesville on Friday.

Freedom's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Battlefield, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.

Battlefield beat Freedom 2-0 when the teams last played back in April. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
