Basketball Game Preview: Martin Luther Cougars vs. Stony Brook Bears

The Martin Luther Cougars are taking a road trip to face off against the Stony Brook Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Martin Luther has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with four straight losses, while Stony Brook will come in with three straight wins.

Last Thursday, Martin Luther lost to Waldorf on the road by a 75-58 margin. The Cougars were down 66-40 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Stony Brook strolled past Martin Luther with points to spare two weeks ago, taking the game 75-60.

Martin Luther's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Stony Brook, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Things could have been worse for Martin Luther, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 75-60 loss to Stony Brook in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can Martin Luther avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
