Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Caldwell). They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Bellville Brahmas on Monday. The Hornets not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 1st (when they won 12-2).

Caldwell is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-11-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Bellville, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-15.

Looking ahead, Caldwell will be playing in front of their home fans against La Grange at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bellville, they are taking a road trip to challenge Sealy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
