Volleyball Recap: Wylie Prep Academy Takes a Loss

Wylie Prep Academy was the 3-0 winner over Dallas HSAA when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots fell 2-0 to the Angels on Thursday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brooke Van Meerveld paced Wylie Prep Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Van Meerveld were helped by Miller G Molli and Jaylee Rye, who contributed nine assists each.

Wylie Prep Academy now has a losing record of 2-3.

Wylie Prep Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Ovilla Christian on the 21st. As for Dallas HSAA, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Liberty Christian on the 21st.
