Volleyball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Christ Church Episcopal's Third in Last Four Outings

If Palmetto wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Christ Church Episcopal, they should've done a better job of containing Hadley Walker. The Cavaliers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mustangs on Thursday with plenty of help from Walker, who had 14 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Christ Church Episcopal had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-18, 25-13, 25-16.

Christ Church Episcopal has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Palmetto, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Christ Church Episcopal is set to challenge their familiar foe St. Joseph's Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Palmetto will take on rival Carolina Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
