Softball Recap: Crescent Valley Comes Up Short

Crescent Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Central Panthers, falling 19-4. The Raiders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Abby Kessler made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Miri Miller was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Crescent Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Central, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Crescent Valley is set to take on their familiar foe McKay at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Central will face off against rival Silverton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
