Goldwater won the last time they faced Coronado and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Dons with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Goldwater never let Coronado on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-23, 25-13.

Goldwater can attribute much of their success to Madilyn Brady, who had seven digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Brady a new career-high.

Goldwater's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Coronado, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coming up, Goldwater will be playing in front of their home fans against Greenway at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Coronado, they will head out on the road to challenge Tempe at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
