It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but West Forsyth ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They put the hurt on the Northwest Guilford Vikings with a sharp 5-2 win. Surprisingly, this marked West Forsyth's fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

They hit Northwest Guilford with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brian Valencia (2), Campden Bishop (2), and Irving Velez-Bernal.

West Forsyth is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those seven matches. As for Northwest Guilford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-4-2.
