Basketball Recap: Taleah Patterson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Springfield over Rossview

Springfield lost against Rossview back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Springfield Yellow Jackets took a 57-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rossview Hawks. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Yellow Jackets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Taleah Patterson, who posted ten points and four steals. The dominant performance also gave Patterson a new career-high in blocks (two). Adrianna Hudson was another key player, putting up seven points and nine boards.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Rossview, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springfield will challenge West Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rossview, they will square off against Northwest at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
