Volleyball Recap: Rice Lake Has No Trouble Against Somerset

It's playoff time, and Rice Lake had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Somerset Spartans 3-0 on Thursday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Addison Schmidt paced Rice Lake's offense, picking up 13 kills. Schmidt got some help from Abby Doebereiner and her 22 assists. Schmidt was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Rice Lake's victory bumped their record up to 22-10. As for Somerset, their loss dropped their record down to 13-17.

Rice Lake has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against St. Croix Central on the 25th. Somerset does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
