There's no place like home for Canyon Crest Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the San Dieguito Academy Mustangs on Monday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Ravens as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Henry Schmidt made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
