Northridge has gone a perfect 3-0 against Waukegan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Knights will head out to face off against the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. Waukegan took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Northridge, who comes in off a win.

Northridge is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Muchin College Prep with a sharp 22-2 win on Thursday. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by ten runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Waukegan's offense. They lost 15-0 to Lake Zurich on Tuesday. The loss leaves the Bulldogs still looking for their first win of the season.

Northridge pushed their record up to 6-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.2 runs over those games. As for Waukegan, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Northridge took their victory against Waukegan in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 12-1 score. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
