The Linfield Christian Lions will head out to face off against the Arrowhead Christian Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Linfield Christian will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Linfield Christian's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over Ontario Christian. The four-run effort marked the Lions' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Not much got past Presley Sloniker, who gave up just two hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Ontario Christian off the board. That's the most strikeouts Sloniker has posted since back in February.
At the plate, Linfield Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Celeste Smith, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Linfield Christian hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ontario Christian struck out seven times.
Meanwhile, Arrowhead Christian hadn't done well against Aquinas recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Arrowhead Christian put the hurt on Aquinas with a sharp 8-1 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven runs or more this season.
Allie Chavez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Daizey Naefke, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Gracie Chavez, who scored a run while going 4-for-5.
Linfield Christian pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Arrowhead Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Linfield Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .424. However, it's not like Arrowhead Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .429. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Linfield Christian took their win against Arrowhead Christian in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Linfield Christian since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
