Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Duval Charter's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Duval Charter's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the River City Science Academy Rockets by a score of 62-50. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 45-28 back in December of 2024.

Duval Charter is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points per game. As for River City Science Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Duval Charter Panthers take on the Parsons Christian Academy Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Duval Charter is facing Parsons Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Parsons Christian Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for River City Science Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against St. Johns Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
