The Carrboro Jaguars will take on the Western Alamance Warriors on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Carrboro is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 67-29 win over Vance County. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Vipers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Western Alamance came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 49.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Knights 78-26. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Knights are ranked 351st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Western Alamance pushed their record up to 23-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points over those games. As for Carrboro, their victory bumped their record up to 19-7.
