Basketball Recap: Panama Extends Winning Streak to Three

Panama proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 55) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Spiro Bulldogs, sneaking past 45-43. Given the Razorbacks' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 269th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win (which was Panama's third in a row) raised their record to 18-4. As for Spiro, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Panama does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Spiro, they will head out to square off against Westville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Spiro is facing Westville at the right time seeing as Westville is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
