Volleyball Recap: Gilbert Classical Academy Triumphs

Gilbert Classical Academy picked up another tournament win on Friday. They came out on top against the Moon Valley Rockets by a score of 2-0.

Jayden Yates paced Gilbert Classical Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Yates got some help from Jotham Demellow and his 15 assists. Demellow was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Gilbert Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Moon Valley, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Gilbert Classical Academy has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against St. Mary's on the 29th. As for Moon Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Youngker on the 29th.
