Basketball Recap: Corinth Comes Up Short

Corinth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They took a 45-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Point Green Wave. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-20 back in December of 2024.

Corinth's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for West Point, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Corinth has already played their next contest (against Pontotoc), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West Point will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lafayette at 6:00 p.m.
