Softball Game Preview: Golden Gate Titans vs. Everglades City Gators

Golden Gate is 2-8 against Everglades City since March of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Golden Gate will take on Everglades City at 6:00 p.m. Golden Gate has given up an average of 17.2 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Golden Gate came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Babcock, falling 13-1. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Titans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Everglades City played against Island Coast on Thursday and won via forfeit.

Everglades City's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Golden Gate, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Golden Gate might still be hurting after the 21-10 defeat they got from Everglades City in their previous meeting last Tuesday. Can Golden Gate avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
