The Vanoss Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 23 points or more this season. They put the hurt on Clayton with a sharp 73-50 win on Friday.

Clayton lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brayden McDaniel, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and four steals. McDaniel set a new season high mark in blocks with three. Braden Sampson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.

Vanoss' win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Clayton, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.

Vanoss will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Asher at 8:00 p.m. on January 12, 2024. Clayton won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Mill Creek at 3:30 p.m. on December 16th. Mill Creek is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.
