Softball Recap: Walnut Ridge Bobcats vs. Rivercrest Colts
Walnut Ridge entered their tilt with Rivercrest on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Colts by a score of 9-5. This was a revenge game for the Bobcats: when they faced off against the Colts back in March, they had to take a 8-5 defeat.
Ashtyn Bradley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Karlee Broadway was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Bailei Hudson also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Walnut Ridge's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Rivercrest, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-6.
