Basketball Recap: Central Bobcats vs. Centennial Coyotes
Central unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Centennial Coyotes on Wednesday, falling 63-15. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Coyotes recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Centennial to victory, but perhaps none more so than Madison Jacks, who went 6 for 13 en route to 14 points plus eight steals and five assists. That's the most assists Jacks has posted since back in November of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Audrey Power, who went 6 for 7 en route to 12 points plus eight rebounds and two blocks.
Central will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cesar Chavez at 7:00 p.m. on December 4th. Centennial also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on December 2nd.
