Baseball Preview: Columbia Christian Crusaders vs. Hermitage Hermits
After both having extra time off, the Columbia Christian Crusaders and the Hermitage Hermits will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbia Christian knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Hermitage likes a good challenge.
Last Friday, Columbia Christian made easy work of Lafayette County and carried off a 23-7 win. The Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 15 runs or more this season.

Columbia Christian got a massive performance out of Kash Smith, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Those three runs gave Smith a new career-high. Ruston Hern was another key player, scoring five runs and stealing three bases while going 5-for-5.
