Softball Recap: Scarsdale Takes a Loss

Scarsdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dobbs Ferry Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Raiders have suffered since April 16, 2024.

L. Im spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on seven hits.

At the plate, Scarsdale saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was E. Baron, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Scarsdale's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Dobbs Ferry, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Scarsdale will venture away from home to take on Rye at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Dobbs Ferry does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
