Soccer Recap: Prince Avenue Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Greene County last Tuesday, Prince Avenue Christian came back down to earth. While the 3-3 score might suggest a draw, it was the Providence Christian Academy Storm who were credited with the victory on Friday. The Providence Christian Academy Storm got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines' three. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Storm apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Prince Avenue Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Providence Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prince Avenue Christian will venture away from home to take on Lake Oconee Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Providence Christian Academy, they will head out to challenge Lanier at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lanier will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Providence Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
