Baseball Game Preview: Tyee Titans vs. Interlake Saints

The Tyee Titans will take on the Interlake Saints at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Tyee hasn't scored more than a single run for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Tyee came up short against Sammamish on Wednesday, falling 21-1.

Tyee saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nicolas Ruiz, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Interlake brought some dynamite into their most recent match. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Foster a 15-0 shutout on Wednesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Saints as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Interlake's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4-1. As for Tyee, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
