Reyleigh Shockley made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Shockley has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 12 consecutive pitching appearances. Shockley was also big at the plate, going 4-for-4 with a home run, four runs, and five RBI.
In other batting news, Bethany Dougan was a standout: she scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Annlyn Stafford was another key contributor, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2.
