Recap: Eagle Valley Devils vs. Pueblo Central Wildcats
The Eagle Valley Devils suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Thursday. They were outmatched by Pueblo Central on the road and fell 65-37. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Eagle Valley has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Eagle Valley still got an impressive performance from Brian Fontana, who scored six points.
Eagle Valley struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pueblo Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Luke Beltran, who scored 11 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Davis, who scored ten points.
Eagle Valley bumped their record down to 4-5 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Pueblo Central, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Pueblo Central won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Sierra at 8:00 p.m. on January 5th. Sierra is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
