Basketball Game Preview: Grinnell Tigers vs. South Tama County Trojans

Grinnell is on a five-game streak of home losses, South Tama County a 17-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Grinnell Tigers will host the South Tama County Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 64-32, which was the final score in Grinnell's tilt against Williamsburg on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 215th, while the Raiders are ranked 21st).

Meanwhile, South Tama County lost to Benton on the road by a 39-24 margin on Tuesday.

South Tama County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Grinnell, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
